Maria Snyder is one of my favorite authors to read.  I can read her first book Poison Study over and over and enjoy it every time.  To me, that's simply amazing.   Touch of Power was similar to Poison Study in many ways, but dissimilar enough to be its very own tale.  Granted, it wasn't as great as Poison Study, but it had a lot to offer.
